Places of Worship AV Installation

Every congregation wants the same simple thing: for everyone in the room, and everyone joining from home, to hear the service clearly and feel part of it. What often gets in the way is not one big fault but sound and screens added over the years, never quite designed around the building.

We at Acoustic Pixel understand that, and it is work we do with care: as an audio visual installation company, we design, install and support integrated audio and video for places of worship, distributed sanctuary sound, live video to overflow and streaming, planned around how your congregation gathers so the technology stays in the background and the message comes through. One in-house team looks after all of it, from the first survey to long-term support, with more than 200 projects delivered across the North of England and nationally.

The problems we solve

The message that does not quite carry to the back.

If any of these feel familiar, you are far from alone, and every one of them is avoidable.

  • Audio that sounds clear in one area but uneven in another.
  • Overflow rooms that feel disconnected from the main service.
  • Video feeds with delay or inconsistent quality.
  • Equipment added over time without proper integration.
  • Wiring and displays that disrupt the character of the space.
  • Systems that volunteers find difficult to manage.
Our approach

It starts with the room, and does not end at handover.

[ video ]
Designed around your worship space, and the way your congregation gathers.
  • Clarity, designed around the room.

Because we come from acoustics, we model the space and place speakers and microphones with care, so speech stays intelligible and music stays natural, from the front row to the back of the hall and into the overflow.

  • One accountable team, not a chain of suppliers.

The people who design your system are the ones who install and support it. We do not subcontract your project to whoever is nearest, so nothing falls between hands and you always know who to call.

  • Discreet, and sympathetic to the building.

Concealed speakers, carefully placed displays and tidy cabling, so the character of your worship space stays central and the technology stays in the background.

  • Built for volunteers, and here for the long term.

Simple to run week after week, with training at handover, a 12-month warranty as standard and one point of contact who already knows your building.

Multi-site and national reach

One standard, every site.

We are based in Middlesbrough and work right across the North of England, and we can deliver multi-site projects nationally. For congregations and organisations with more than one building, we design a single standard and roll it out everywhere, so every space sounds and works the same, your volunteers have nothing new to learn, and you have one team and one point of contact.

[ confirm the regional and national multi-site claim before publishing. Only Middlesbrough is a confirmed premises, and no other location is implied ]

Places of Worship FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is a multi-room audio video system?

A multi-room audio system lets you distribute clear sound across different areas of your building, whether that is the main sanctuary, overflow spaces, side halls or community rooms. You can play the same audio throughout the building or control individual zones independently, all from a simple central interface.

Can you install in an existing church building?

Yes. For new builds or renovations, we design fully integrated systems that are carefully incorporated into the structure of the building. For existing churches, we provide retrofit solutions that minimise disruption while respecting the character and layout of your space.

How much does a multi-room system cost?

Every church is different in size, layout and requirements. A professionally designed multi-room audio and video system typically ranges from £1,000 to £30,000 and up, depending on the number of spaces, infrastructure needs and level of integration. Following an initial consultation, we provide a clear and detailed proposal with no obligation.

Can audio and video be controlled centrally?

Yes. Systems can be designed with centralised control, allowing your team to manage audio and video across multiple spaces from a simple, intuitive interface. This reduces complexity and makes weekly operation straightforward for volunteers.

How long does installation take?

Smaller upgrades may be completed within a day. Larger, fully integrated multi-room systems usually take between 2 to 5 days, depending on the size of the building and the scope of work. A clear timeline is provided before installation begins.

What areas do you cover?

We operate across the North of England and support projects throughout the UK. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.
