Restaurant & Bar AV Installation
Restaurants, pubs and bars live or die on atmosphere, and guests feel the AV long before they notice it: music too loud at the bar and too quiet at the booths, a screen nobody can quite see, the specials still looping from last week. It is rarely one big fault, more often kit added over the years and never quite joined up.
We at Acoustic Pixel understand that, and it is the work we do best: as an audio visual installation company, we design, install and support restaurant, pub and bar AV as one connected system, multi-zone audio, screens and digital menus, tuned so the room sounds right and holds up across a packed night. One in-house team looks after all of it, from the first survey to long-term support, with more than 200 projects delivered across the North of England and nationally.

- In-house team, survey to support
- 12-month warranty as standard
- 200+ projects across the North
Everything your venue needs, from one team.
Multi-zone audio
Immersive sound from the bar to the booths to the beer garden, with even coverage so nobody has to shout to be heard.
- Commercial-grade speakers and amplifiers, zoned
- Background music in one area, a livelier level in another, all balanced
Screens and video walls
Big, well-placed screens with a clear view from across the room and minimal glare, for menus, ambience and big occasions.
- HD screens and video walls positioned for the room
- Switch content or channels with a tap
Digital menus and signage
Dynamic menu boards and promo displays you update in seconds, so specials stay current.
- Food, drinks and daily specials from any device
- No reprinting, fresh content that catches the eye
One-touch control
Sound and screens from one simple interface any server or bartender can run on a busy night.
- A single touchscreen or app, configured for your venue
- Simple on a packed night, reliable when it matters
Outdoor and beer garden AV
Weatherproof sound and screens so the atmosphere carries out to the terrace and garden.
- Weatherproof speakers and displays
- Zoned with the rest of the venue
All from one in-house team
Design, supply, installation and support, with the acoustics tuned for a busy room from the start, and nothing handed to a subcontractor.
The table that has to shout to be heard.
If any of these feel familiar, you are far from alone, and every one of them is avoidable.
- Music blasting at the bar but a whisper at the booths, so guests shout to be heard.
- Guests straining to hear over the room, or a screen nobody can see for glare or distance.
- Printed posters and stale screen loops, so specials and offers go unnoticed.
- The atmosphere stops dead at the door to the terrace or beer garden.
- Staff juggling remotes and apps instead of serving.
- No clear number to call when something fails mid-service.
It starts with your room, and does not end at handover.
Sound that fills the room, not just the bar.
Because we come from acoustics, we place commercial-grade speakers with care, then tune the room so conversation, music and the buzz of the room all sit right, with the hot spots and dead zones designed out.
One accountable team, not a chain of suppliers.
The people who design your system are the ones who install and support it. We do not subcontract your fit-out to whoever is nearest, so nothing falls between hands and you always know who to call.
Built for a busy night.

One standard, every site.
We are based in Middlesbrough and work right across the North of England, and we can deliver multi-site projects nationally. For restaurant, pub and bar groups with sites in more than one region, we design a single venue standard and roll it out everywhere, so every site looks and sounds the same, your staff have nothing new to learn, and you have one team and one point of contact for the whole estate.
[ confirm the regional and national multi-site claim before publishing. Only Middlesbrough is a confirmed premises, and no other location is implied ]

Frequently asked questions.
Can we show different matches or content in different areas of the venue?
Yes. We design multi-zone systems that let you play different content across your venue at the same time, for example sport in the main bar, a second fixture in another area and background music in the dining space. Everything is controlled from a single, central interface, so your staff can switch channels or adjust the audio in each zone without juggling multiple remotes.
Will installation disrupt our trading hours?
No. We plan every installation around your schedule. Most work is carried out outside trading hours or during quieter periods, and for larger projects we phase the installation in sections so you can keep operating with minimal disruption. After a site survey, we give you a clear timeline so you know exactly what to expect.
What happens if something fails during a big match?
We use commercial-grade equipment designed for reliability in busy hospitality environments. Every system includes 12 months of priority support, and our team is available for urgent issues. For key match days or events, we can also carry out pre-event system checks so everything runs smoothly when it matters most.
How much does a hospitality AV system cost?
The investment depends on your venue size, the number of zones and the level of integration. Smaller single-area setups, such as speakers, screens and simple control, typically start from around £3,000 to £5,000. Fully integrated multi-zone systems, including digital signage and multiple displays, can range from £10,000 to £30,000 and up. We provide a clear, tailored quotation following your consultation.
Can our staff easily control the system, or do we need a technician?
Your team can control everything from a single touchscreen or tablet app, designed for ease of use in hospitality environments. From changing channels and adjusting volume to managing screens, it all takes just a few taps. Full training is provided, and the system is intuitive enough for any staff member to use confidently.
Can we update our digital menu boards and signage ourselves?
Yes. You will have full control over your digital content through a simple content management system. You can update menus, promotions, fixtures or offers from any laptop or tablet, with changes appearing on screen instantly and no technical expertise required.
Do you provide ongoing support after installation?
Yes. Every installation includes 12 months of complimentary support. After this period, we offer ongoing maintenance packages and remain available for upgrades, troubleshooting or system enhancements as your venue evolves. We are here for the long term, not just the installation.
Can you design the system before we commit?
Yes. We begin with a consultation and site survey, followed by a tailored system design. This covers layout planning, screen positioning, audio coverage and control setup, so you can clearly see how everything will work in your venue before moving forward.
What areas do you cover?
We operate across the North of England and support hospitality projects throughout the UK. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, simply get in touch and we will confirm availability for your venue.
Let's start with a look at your venue.
Whether it is one restaurant, pub or bar or a whole group, a free site survey is the easiest first step. We will see the venue, understand how your service runs, and set out clear options, with no obligation.
