Sports & Music Venue AV Installation

A venue lives on the noise it makes. The moment the PA distorts, the screen freezes on the winning goal or an announcement cannot be heard on a full concourse, the crowd feels it before anyone in the office does.

We at Acoustic Pixel understand that, which is why we start with the room and the crowd rather than the kit list. As an audio visual installation company, we design, supply, install and support AV for stadiums, clubs, arenas and live music venues, from the first survey to long-term support, with more than 200 projects delivered across the North of England and nationally.

What we deliver

Everything your venue needs, from one team.

Sound reinforcement

Speech and music that carry to the back row and stay intelligible when the room is full and loud.

  • Specified for the room, not the catalogue
  • Tuned on site, once the space is finished

Zoned concourse and bar audio

Music, announcements and commentary across concourses, bars, hospitality and outdoor areas, each zone on its own.

  • Independent zones, one interface
  • Announcements override music

Big screens and LED walls

Large-format displays and LED walls for replays, live feeds and the moment everyone turns to look.

  • Sized and sited for sightlines
  • Bright enough for daylight

Digital signage and wayfinding

Fixtures, kick-off times, bar menus and sponsor content on screens you can change in seconds.

  • Turnstile, concourse and hospitality signage
  • Updated centrally, no reprinting

Centralised and multi-site control

One button opens the venue, and every zone, screen and system starts and shuts down from a single place.

  • Matchday and gig presets
  • Update or monitor any site

All from one in-house team

Design, supply, installation and support delivered by our own engineers, with nothing handed to a subcontractor.

The problems we solve

The PA nobody can understand once the ground is full.

If any of these feel familiar, you are far from alone, and every one of them is avoidable.

  • A safety announcement that half the ground cannot make out.
  • Music that sounds fine at soundcheck and turns to mush with two thousand people in the room.
  • A screen that freezes on the replay everyone came back to their seat for.
  • Kit only one person on the staff knows how to turn on, and it is their day off.
  • Nobody to call at nine on a Saturday when the sound goes down before kick-off.
Our approach

It starts with the room full, and does not end at handover.

Built around your venue, your crowd and the way a matchday actually runs.
  • Sound that holds up under a crowd.

A venue full of people is a different acoustic space to an empty one. We design for the full room, control reverberation and spill, and tune the system on site so speech stays clear and music stays clean at volume.

  • One accountable team, not a chain of suppliers.

The people who design your system install and support it. We do not subcontract, so nothing falls between hands and you always know who to call.

  • Built to be run by whoever is on shift.

Matchday and gig presets, one interface, no technician required. Your stewards, bar staff and duty manager can all run it with confidence.

  • And we stay a call away.

A 12-month warranty as standard, one named point of contact, and remote monitoring where the system allows.

How we work

One team, with you from survey to support.

  1. 1

    Free site survey

The bowl, concourse, bars and acoustics, with the room full in mind.

  2. 2

    Design and proposal

Itemised options with broad-band pricing, phased season by season if needed.

  3. 3

    Installation

Around fixtures and gigs, or in the close season, so the venue keeps trading.

  4. 4

    Handover and training

Stewards, bar staff and duty managers all leave able to run it.

  5. 5

    Support

12-month warranty as standard, plus one named point of contact.

Multi-site and national reach

One standard, every site.

We are based in Middlesbrough and work right across the North of England, and we can deliver multi-site projects nationally. For clubs, groups and operators running more than one venue, we design a single standard and roll it out everywhere, so every room sounds and behaves the same, your staff have nothing new to learn, and you have one team and one point of contact for the whole estate.

Sports & Music Venues FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is a venue sound and screen system?

It brings the PA, the zoned audio in concourses and bars, the big screens and the signage under one design, so speech stays intelligible over a crowd, every zone runs on its own, and the whole venue can be opened, scheduled and shut down from a single interface.

Will announcements be clear when the ground is full?

That is the question we design around, and it matters beyond comfort: an announcement the ground cannot make out is a safety problem before it is an annoyance. A full venue behaves as a completely different acoustic space to an empty one, so we design for the room with the crowd in it, control reverberation and spill, and tune the system on site rather than to a specification sheet.

How much does a venue AV system cost?

It depends on the number of zones, the acoustic condition of the bowl and how much screen coverage you want, so a clubhouse and a full ground are very different projects. We work in broad bands at proposal stage and confirm a figure once we have surveyed, and proposals are itemised so the work can be phased rather than bought all at once.

Can you work around fixtures and gigs?

Yes, and we plan for it from the survey onwards. Work is scheduled into dark days, the close season, or phased across several visits, so the venue keeps trading and no fixture or booking has to move. You get a clear schedule before anything starts.

Can our own staff run it on a matchday?

Yes, and the system is designed on that basis. Matchday and gig presets sit behind one interface, so stewards, bar staff and the duty manager can all run it without a technician on site. We train your team at handover, and the presets mean the right setup is one press away rather than something to configure.

Can we do it in phases, season by season?

Yes. We design the infrastructure to be scalable from the start, so you can begin with the areas that matter most and add zones, screens and spaces as budget allows. That suits a seasonal budget or a grant, and each phase is specified so it works on its own and still fits the finished design.

What areas do you cover?

We are based in Middlesbrough and work across the North of England, including Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield and Newcastle. For operators running venues in more than one region, we deliver nationally.

Get started

Let's start with a look at your venue.

Whether it is one bar or a whole ground, a free AV assessment is the easiest first step, no obligation and no hard sell. We will see the spaces, understand how a matchday runs, and set out clear options.
